Willem J van Wyk

As a South African boy—currently residing in China and with an eye open to the next big adventure—I grew up playing god with the numerous insect societies on display in the African Highveld. After serving hard time in school—and a variety of jobs—I earned a diploma in practical theology from C.B.I. in Pinetown and worked as the assistant pastor in Living Rivers Family Church. Since 2009 I have been working as an English teacher in the South Western University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu, and then Jimei University, in Xiamen, China.

Through all of these life experiences, remained my faith in Jesus, my love for family, and my fascination with writing, reading and all creatures great and small. I have devoted the next chapter of my life to the pursuit of a career as a published author.
